Sunburn!!!!

I am now officially further than I have ever been from home and I can't go much further without going into space. I am in Sydney!!!! Got sunburn within my first 2 hours of being here, It was really hot even by Sydney standards. I am chillin' at a YHA hostel near Bondi beach and haven't seen anything as I have spent my whole time walking, chilling and trying to surf at the beach (and getting drunk, got an awful hangover). I am off to NZ tomorrow and a bit sad that I haven't go more time to spend in Austrailia but I may be back for a few weeks after New Zealand if I can get a job in a hostel. Anyways peace out guys, I am off to try and swim my hangover off.

Vegas baby!!!!

Well, I was surposed to go to Sydney last Wednesday but last Tuesday at 6pm I decided to join some friends on a trip to Vegas baby!!!! So after 4 hours of stress with changing flights, hostel bookings etc, I was on a bus to Vegas. I have spent the last week there and saw the Grand Canyon, it was SO, SO amazing, no words can describe, just do it yourselves. Spent the rest of my time just wandering up and down the strip, gambled $3 on slot machines and came out with $9....woooh, big spender eh????

Additional San Fran

Also stumbled across Chinese New Year celebrations in China town, which was...nice.

San Francisco

Hello all, I am having a wicked time in San Francisco, pace of life has stowed down in this town. I am in such a fantastic hostel that there often doesn't feel a need to go out because all the guests have so much fun together. I have been to Alkatraz which had fantastic views of the city and am off to Golden Gate bridge later. San Fran really does feel like Brighton in the States. It is such a chilled out place, the streets are beautiful, the people are lovely and it just feels.......nice.

New York

Wow New York was amazing!!!!!!Stupidly cold but great. On my first night I got a free ticket to see the Late Show with David Letterman being filmed which was interesting, although the show wasn't actually that good. I have seen 3, yes 3 broadway shows cos I found various ways of getting cheap last minute tickets. Saw Chicago which was cool, Spamalot was brilliant and the Lion King was just amazing!!!! (thanks to Freespirit for buying me the Lion King ticket) MoMA gallery was really cool as were all the other galleries I went to. I did all the tourist stuff, Empire State, Stature of Liberty, Brooklin Bridge etc etc. I have even been ice skating in central park.....in fact 1st unexpected event of the trip was strolling in central park and discovering a whole section of the park covered in snow, not because it had been snowing but because they wanted snow so much they got some snow cannons and made it snow, only in the US eh! I made some wonderful friends in my hostel and was quite sad when we went our seperate ways. I love the atmosphere in New York and it was a lot friendlier than I ever thought it would be. Missing you all loads but not as much as I thought I would, ha ha ha!!! Really am missing everyone and wish I could share it all with you. Joe
